People never feel they have enough money. They always more because money doesn't satisfy. Money can be like a drug, and people can become obssesed with getting rich. It's hard to believe, but many of the richest people on earth think they need more money. In fact the more money you have, the more money you tend to want. If you have enough money to buy a new CD player, then you want more money to buy CDs. If you have enough money to buy a new pair of shoes, then you want more money to buy a matching outfit. If you have enough money to buy a house, then you would want more money to decorate it, fix it up, and pay for all the utility bills and taxes. Ify you have enough money to buy an expensive car, then you want more money to pay for repair bills and higher insurance rates...and blahblahblahblahblah...on it goes.
Some people might need more money than others because they don't carefully manage what they have. Learn to set spending limits for yourself. You don't always need what you want. The world tries to make you think you need more than you do-to make you want more than you need. But if you can learn to live within your means and budget your money wisely, you will learn one of the secrets to happy life-being content with what you have. If you can learn to be content with what you have, even if it's only a little, GOD may trust you to handle more. ( Matthew 25:21)
While lying in bed yesterday, i thought of this ' why people seem to need more money?' .
then i remembered. last year i read this book titled REALITY 101. it's a book on what the BIBLE says to teens about real life questions. but i have lost the book. i tried looking for it, but sighh...it's not anywhere in the house. sad huh? =( . so i jes typed out whatever i can remember. =) .
you can dig deeper by reading Ecclesiates 5:10-12 ; Philippians 4:11-12 ; 1 Timothy 6:6-10.
