I wasnt gonna blog till after my exams BUT i felt i just had to blog bout wad happened today!
ok lets start from monday
I got back my Individual Oral Presentation (IOP) script draft from my english teacher.
IOP is 15% of my final IB grade for english fyi. =)
but i had no idea when i was supposed to present.
den came tuesday!
I got told that i was supposed to present on tues. -.-
Thank God kenneth yeo could stand in. SO he took my slot and i was once again with a slot for iop.
so wed was the ACS holiday for being top boys sch for sports for the 11th yr running (WHEEE)
anyway, i wanted to email my teacher bout when i was scheduled to present since i din have a date to present on. but thinking that she wouldnt have access to it since she doesnt work for the sch anymore, i din send the email.
DEN CAME THURSDAY
sloke: Ben chia ure presenting TODAY
me: HUH?! WHAT?!
so i went to look for the teacher and she said i HAD to present tmr (friday/ today)
with my exams in 4 days, i had to spend a whole night on doing the ppt and preparing for IOP.
so i spent the whole night and slept at 1.30
PRESENTATION DAY
woke up at 5.30 *yawnz*
furiously typed away on my laptop while on the way to sch on the train.
She told me to present at 10.40
but at 10.20, she sent smses to ivan and theo that said something like this
"H, ben chia is supposed to present his iop now. if he is running away from me, please tell me so i can do something bout it. i wun be waiting here for long."
that just pissed me off.
I spent my whole night working on the ppt and here she was assuming that i was RUNNING from her.
my mind just clouded with "WTH!!?!?!!"
BUT
as i walked towards the library from the audi (which is a 5min brisk walk), the hymn "All the way my Saviour leads me" popped into my head.
The hymn really calmed me down and dispelled the angst and "hate" i was feeling for her.
In fact, i started feeling happy!
when i got to the library and saw her, i even managed to smile! haha!
everything within the next two lines has nothing to do with the purpose of the post

i sat down, turned on my laptop and realised that my hands were shaking.
i felt like it was coz my laptop was vibrating.
but when i lifted up my hands, i was literally shaking.

Well, thank God for bringing me thru that.
Thank GIDDY for letting me see his ownage ppt (tho i din actually use it much, cept maybe it made me wanna put pics)
Thank MY SIS AND BRO for the crazily powerful analysis they helped me produce for my iop =)
