The day that Anglo Chinese School Independent's International Baccalaureate Programme (i just love typing out the extra long name.. sorry. haha!)received the results of its first batch of students. (through fedex mail!)
Heres the breakdown
out of 357 candidates, 9 obtained 45 pts.

109 got 42 pts and above.
the max is 45 pts.
Heres how it works.
Grade
7 - 80% and above
6-70-79%
5-60-69%
4-50-59%
and u have 6 subjects to chalk up pts with. so the max u get from exams is 42pts.
so ull prolly be asking how the heck u get 45 pts den.

thats from bonus pts.
u can get a max of 3 bonus pts from the combined result of 2 things
Philosophy (TOK) a 1.6 k word essay and a presentation
and
Solo PW (EE) a 4k word essay which is centred upon a subject that u take (maths science blah)

getting 45 pts is no mean feat.
42 pts is more human but its still mad.
and to any yr 6 of 07 that got less than 42 pts, dun worry! u can still go to oxford! hahaha...
supposedly u can go nus with 24pts. but i think thats kinda unrealistic.
