IM BLOGGING!


the long long awaited hols r here!
and i alrdy got mon to thurs taken up.

yawnz
gotta read huck finn by the end of this hols.

ill try to remember to take more pics of stuff so i can blog. i hate blogging without pics. its just so boring looking. unless the whole post is to flame someone. but i dun do that much anymore.

but if u miss that, heres a bit of it.

TODAY
we were given a task to build a shelter
heres the scenario: Youre stranded on an island with no shelter nearby. A thunderstorm is approaching and u have 15mins to build a shelter to tide u thru the night.
you have 5 groundsheets, a bucket of manila hemp, many many dowel poles.

SO, we laid out 2 groundsheets to ensure our shelter covered that space.
THEN, this girl came up with the idea of tying the hemp diagonally across to kinda form an X shape over the groundsheets. " den we can put the groundsheet over!" and i was like "WAIT! its a thunderstorm.. the top will blow off"
but no...
no one listens to me.
SO they started tying the hemp arnd...
den LUCKILY, no one was listening to her idea either. so they tied the corners of the sheets to trees and the shelter looked kinda decent.
den i pointed out a gigantic hole whr the 2 covering sheets overlapped.
told em to take out one of the ropes n re tie em.
BUT NO!!
"its ok wan"

and so we ended up with a holey shelter which would prolly not save us from getting drenched in the case of a thunderstorm.

ok. im guessing that im not the only one that saw those things. but its just that they were too lazy to mention em.

morale of story, FRIKKIN LISTEN!

ok. im done. =)
on a side note, on thurs, i forgot how to do a lefthand layup. (im left handed and thats one of the simplest moves btw)
on fri, i couldnt even catch passes.

so on sat, im gonna sleep 9 hours den wake up and face the world with a gigantic smile =))
